The Knauf Museum in Iphofen

Since 1983 in the former Prince Bishop’s Bursary, a baroque building in the centre of Iphofen dating back to 1693, the Knauf Museum has been presenting a unique collection of relics from the great cultural epochs from Mesopotamia to the cultures of Ancient America via Egypt, Rome and Greece in over 200 brilliantly made casts.

Permanent exhibition

The casts in the Knauf Museum represent art from four continents and five centuries. A unique museum.
